Visiting Siwa requires to drive for almost 9 to 10 hours as it is almost 750 km drive from Cairo and there are no scheduled flights to Siwa as there is only one small airport 40 km from Siwa.

    This tour package which operates only once a year will allow you to visit this unique oasis by air since we charter a flight to give the chance to those who are interested in visiting Siwa without driving for 9 hours. it is only one hour and half by air.

    Itinerary

    Day 1 / Arrival in Cairo

    Arrive in Cairo, your Tour Coordinator will meet & assist you at Cairo International Airport. He will help you with the arrival procedures and then will escort you to your hotel by air-conditioned vehicle. At the hotel, your tour coordinator will help you with the check-in. He will give you a copy of your itinerary including all the necessary contact numbers and timings for all departures and movements.

    Day 2 / Cairo: Egyptian Museum & Islamic Cairo

    Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then your Tour Coordinator will introduce you to your Egyptologist who will accompany you during your Full day tour to The Egyptian Museum & Islamic Cairo including Citadel of Saladin, Sultan Hassan Mosque & Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

    Check-out, meet your Tour Coordinator, transfer to Cairo Domestic Airport where your Tour Coordinator will help you with check-in to board your flight to Siwa.
    Your Tour Coordinator will meet & assist you at Luxor Domestic Airport. You will be transferred from Siwa Military Airport to Adrere Amellal Eco-Lodge by 4X4 cars (The airport is almost 40 km from the Lodge)

    Day 5 / Siwa Oasis: Mountain of the Dead, Siwan House, Oracle Temple, Cleopatra Bath & Fitnas Island

    Breakfast at your Lodge in Siwa Oasis, then your Egyptologist will accompany you during your tour to Mountain of the Dead that honeycomb the conical hill. These tombs date to the late Pharaonic times and were reused for Roman burials. Afterwards, You will visit Cleopatra Bath which is one of the many oasis springs of Siwa and then visit the Oracle Temple. You will have the chance to visit The Siwan House as well to know more about the daily life and Habits for Siwan people.

    Day 6 / Siwa Oasis: Old Shali & Safari Tour

    Breakfast at your lodge in Siwa Oasis, then your Egyptologist will accompany you during your tour to Old City of Shali with its mud ruins and spectacular views of the oasis.

    Discover the various depth of the Great Sand Sea. 4X4 vehicles will drive you to the desert for a half day safari where you can see the petrified forests, fossilized sea shells. Cruise on the top of curved sand dunes with a chance to swim in cold, warm and hot lakes and springs.

This Lodge is located at the foot of the "White Mountain" and it is made of earth buildings that blend naturally into the landscape. Adrère Amellal has been built with indigenous material using traditional Siwan building techniques and styles which have a minimal impact on the environment. Kershef, a mixture of sun-dried salt rock mixed with clay, is used for wall building. This material maintains indoor temperatures at moderate levels. Ceilings are made of palm beams, while doors, windows and fixtures are made of olive wood from annual tree trimmings. Furnishings are simple, yet of the highest quality, drawing exclusively on local materials and designs.Each one of its hand-built 43 rooms is unique, combining distinction and authenticity. All the furniture and crafts pay tribute to nature and to talented local artisanship. With no electricity, the rooms are softly lit with a dozen beeswax candles and the starry sky.     Payment Policy

    • Reservations should be made as early as possible to book your selected trip, confirmation is subject to availability. Once we confirm the availability for your selected trip, a deposit of 50 % should be received by Credit Card, Wire Transfer or Western Union to secure the space
    • The remaining amount (50% of the total amount due) should be paid 30 days prior to the trip date otherwise space will be released
    • For trips booked less than 30 days prior to the trip date, full payment should be received to secure the space
    • During the Christmas and New Year holidays, full payment should be received to secure the space

    Cancellation Policy

    • Cancellation must be notified in written format (by email)
    • In case of cancellation within 45 days prior to arrival date, the guest will be charged 30% from the package rate.
    • In case of cancellation within 44 to 30 days prior to arrival date the guest will be charged 40% from the package rate.
    • In case of cancellation within 29 to 15 days prior to arrival date the guest will be charged 50% from the package rate.
    • In case of cancellation within 14 to 8 days prior to arrival date the guest will be charged 80% from the package rate.
    • In case of cancellation within 7 days prior to arrival date the guest will be charged 100% from the package rate.
