    Your day starts with a comfortable pick-up from your hotel in Aswan, where one of our guides from Dunes & Beyond will be waiting to assist you. The trip includes a motorboat ride to the Kalabsha Temple, an excellent example of the architectural achievements of ancient Egyptians. This temple was originally constructed by Pharaohs Thutmose II and Amenophis II at Kalabsha, 40 km south of Aswan. It was later relocated to a scenic hill near Egypt's Aswan High Dam to protect it from being submerged by the new Lake Nasser.

    The beauty of the Kalabsha Temple is well depicted by the well-maintained wall and the well-carved friezes that give a clear picture of the religious and ceremonial activities of ancient Egyptian society. When strolling in the magnificent corridors of the temple, you will listen to the stories of the divine and the kings' victories against the backdrop of the Nubian desert.

    The tour continues with a visit to the Nubian Museum in Aswan, which was inaugurated in 1997. This museum focuses on Nubian civilization and art, showcasing artifacts that were salvaged from the bottom of Lake Nasser before it was too late.

    Itinerary

    • Pick-Up: Egyptologist guide takes you from your hotel or Nile cruise.
    • Boat Transfer: Motorboat ride to Kalabsha Temple.
    • Visit Kalabsha Temple: Explore the temple dedicated to the god Mandulis.
    • Transfer to Nubian Museum: Return by boat and drive to the museum.
    • Visit Nubian Museum: Tour the museum.
    • Return: Transfer back to your hotel or Nile cruise.

    • 6 - 11.99 pay 50% of tour price
    • 12+ pay full tour price as per adult person
    • If your tour includes airfare then an extra charge for child rate may apply

    Payment Policy

    • Reservations should be made as early as possible to book your selected trip, confirmation is subject to availability. Once we confirm the availability for your selected trip, a deposit of 30 % should be received by Credit Card, Wire Transfer or Western Union to secure the space
    • The remaining amount (70% of the total amount due) should be paid 60 days prior to the trip date otherwise space will be released
    • For trips booked less than 60 days prior to the trip date, full payment should be received to secure the space
    • During the Christmas and New Year holidays, full payment should be received to secure the space

    Cancellation Policy

    • Cancellation must be notified in written format (by email)
    • In case of cancellation within 60 days prior to arrival date, the guest will be charged 30% from the package rate.
    • In case of cancellation within 59 days prior to arrival date the guest will be charged 100% from the package rate.
