6- Dakrour Mountain: A very good view for Siwa as it is the highest point there. Around 3 km southeast of Siwa Oasis. You can enjoy the view from over there, the landscape of the palm trees, the sand and the most beautiful thing to watch is the sunrise from the top. People come from all around the world during the summer months to be interred in sand baths which have properties of healing rheumatism. The sand bath lasts approximately 20 minutes and you are buried up to your neck in the hot desert sand; the process is usually repeated for any aching part of the body for 3 to 5 days, and it’s amazing. The mountain has a touristic event that is held every year for three consecutive days usually in the middle of October, during the festival all Siwan citizens gather to camp at the base of the mountain for the three days eating together and talking with each other to diminish any touches or conflicts between themselves and open a brand new page for the next year. It is actually one of two temples dedicated to Amun at Siwa. Oracle temple is unique in that; it is the largest temple in the oasis, it includes a total of 45 different separate chambers. It’s preferably to book a tour to the temple with a tour company as the temple is not always open. Instead, it is available for viewing on an on-demand basis.

10- Fatnas Island: about 6km from Siwa Town. An isolated lake surrounded by palm trees, you can just sit there to watch the sunset or to enjoy the sunrise, an experience you don’t want to miss.
